Rhodes International Airport “Diagoras” (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Ρόδου “Διαγόρας”; IATA: RHO, ICAO: LGRP) is the main civilian airport on the Greek island of Rhodes, located just north of the village Paradisi, about 14 km southwest of the city of Rhodes. It is operated by Fraport Greece.
The airport covers around 1,794,600 m² at an elevation of just 5.73 m above sea level. Its passenger terminal was significantly expanded in 2005 and now totals about 47,300 m².
Diagoras Airport has a single runway, designated 06/24, with a length of 3,305 meters (10,844 ft) and a width of 60 meters. The runway has precision approach lighting (CAT II) and strong pavement (PCN 94/F/A/X/T), according to the airport’s AIP.
On the apron, the airport can accommodate up to 20 ICAO reference category C aircraft simultaneously via a modern pushback configuration. Three of the positions are MARS (Multiple Apron Ramp System) capable, allowing larger aircraft — such as Airbus A330/A350 or Boeing 747/777/787 — to park.
The airport’s general aviation apron also has space for smaller propeller aircraft or business jets.
For business aviation, Universal Aviation provides ground-handling services and confirms that the longest runway there is 10,846 ft, offering 24-hour operations
