Cervia AB Airport

Cervia Air Base (Italian: Aeroporto Militare di Cervia – Pisignano) (ICAO: LIPC) is a military airfield of the Italian Air Force, located about 6 km southwest of Cervia in the province of Ravenna, in the frazione of Pisignano near Via Confine 547. It is home to the 15th Stormo, which primarily operates HH‑139 helicopters for Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) missions over land and sea.

The base has a single asphalt runway 12/30, measuring 3,050 m (10,007 ft), suitable for helicopters, small to medium jets, and larger transport aircraft as required for military operations. Cervia has a history of hosting fighter aircraft, including F‑16s, and now focuses on SAR and special operations support.

Cervia Air Base occasionally opens to the public for events showcasing its aircraft and operational capabilities. It also maintains infrastructure for training, maintenance, and civil protection missions, making it a key asset for the Italian Air Force in northern Italy.
