Avoriaz Ski Resort
Avoriaz (1,800–2,280 m) is a unique car-free ski village located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. The resort offers ski-in/ski-out accommodation and direct access to a variety of slopes suitable for beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers. Avoriaz is well connected to the larger Portes du Soleil network, giving access to around 600 km of linked pistes across France and Switzerland.
The village itself has a lively alpine atmosphere with numerous mountain restaurants, snowparks, and family-friendly facilities. Its car-free layout makes it especially attractive for families, while more experienced skiers can explore challenging runs and freeride terrain across the broader ski domain.
