Acropolis of Lindos

Lindos is a picturesque village of whitewashed houses at the foot of a steep hill, crowned by the Acropolis of Lindos. Perched 116 m above the sea, this ancient citadel has been a strategic and sacred site since the 10th century B.C. Highlights include the Temple of Athena Lindia, Hellenistic stoa, propylaea (monumental entrance), and the remains of fortifications built over centuries, all offering panoramic views of the Aegean.

Ancient Town of Kamiros

Situated on the northwest coast of Rhodes, Ancient Kamiros was one of the island’s three major ancient cities. Built on a hillside overlooking the sea, the extensive ruins include the Agora, Doric and Hellenistic temples, houses, streets, and parts of an aqueduct, giving visitors a vivid sense of daily life in antiquity.

Ancient Town of Ialysos 

On Rhodes’ northern side lies Ancient Ialysos, one of the island’s earliest Greek settlements. It sits on a scenic hilltop crowned by the Monastery of Filerimos and the remains of a small temple of Athena, offering lovely views and a peaceful historical atmosphere.
