It is Mexico’s and Latin America’s busiest airport by passenger traffic and aircraft movements. On a typical day, more than 100,000 passengerspass through the airport to and from more than 100 destinations on three continents. In 2016, the airport handled 41,710,254 passengers, a 8.53% increase compared to 2015.
