Kefallinia International Airport (IATA: EFL, ICAO: LGKF), also known as Kefalonia Airport “Anna Pollatou”, is the airport serving the island of Kefallonia (Cephalonia), Greece.
It originally opened in 1971 to improve connectivity for the then‑municipality of Leivathos, and in the 1980s a new runway and the current terminal building were constructed.
In December 2015, the privatization deal was finalized: the Fraport AG / Copelouzos Group joint venture took over the operation of Kefallinia Airport (among 13 other regional Greek airports) for a 40‑year concession starting in autumn 2016.
The airport has a single asphalt runway (14/32) measuring 2,436 m (7,992 ft).
It supports a wide range of aircraft, from small propeller planes and regional airliners to medium jets and larger airliners.
