Skyros Island National Airport (IATA: SKU, ICAO: LGSY) is an airport serving the island of Skyros in Greece. It is located 17 km northwards from the town of the island (also called Skyros), in an area called Trachi. It opened in 1984 and since then it operates as a civil airport.The airport was built during the period of 1975-1981 and the first take off took place at 1978. Iis located at a 15 meter height from the surface of the sea and it has a take-off/ landing runway 9849 feet. The size of the parking floors is 15.000m2 and the terminal is 7.500 m2
